Standard shipping charges within the United States are broken up by total order price:
$0.01 - $299.99 will be $20.00
$300.00 - $600.00 will be $30.00
$600.01 - $800.00 will be $40.00

Shipping prices are for USPS priority mail with tracking.
Normally we ship within one week after receiving payment via USPS priority mail (2-3 day delivery once the item has been shipped). This means you will receive your item within approximately 10 days. Items may be slightly delayed during September and October. All orders include delivery confirmation. We reserve the right to add signature confirmation to any order.
We offer rush order services (shipment within 48 hours) and overnight shipping for an additional fee. The cost for these two services is approximately $150, depending on the item's weight and your location and the complexity of the costume. Some rural areas do not have overnight services available. Please contact us *BEFORE ORDERING* for an exact quote and be sure to include your zip code and the item you plan to order.
Yes! We are happy to ship anywhere in the world but you will be responsible for higher shipping charges and any customs fees due upon delivery. We ship via USPS international priority mail (6-10 days for delivery after shipment) or you may upgrade to USPS international express mail (3-5 days for delivery after shipment) or USPS global express mail (1-3 days for delivery after shipment). We do not ship via surface or economy mail due to the 6-8 week delivery timeline. All items shipped internationally will be marked as merchandise on the customs form. Priority international mail is already built into the PayPal shopping cart and will be available when you checkout. If you would like to upgrade to express, please contact us before ordering.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers through PayPal. They are a secure money transfer site where you can pay directly from your bank account or through any major credit card. PayPal then transfers the money into our account and we never have access to your credit card or bank account numbers. Just click on the “add to cart” button for the item you wish to purchase and it will automatically be added to a PayPal shopping cart. When you are ready to check out, just click “view shopping cart” and you can pay. We do NOT accept personal or business checks, cashier's checks, or money orders.
You do not need to have a PayPal account to complete checkout. When you initially go to checkout, PayPal will ask you to log in to your account (you will see a place to put in your e-mail address and password). However, if you scroll down the page, you will see a place that says 'don't have a PayPal account? Pay with a credit card as a PayPal guest.' You will need to click that link to checkout without creating a PayPal account.

If you include your measurements with your order, we can alter the bodice to your measurements (up to equal measurements - for instance 60" bust and 60" waist). We cannot invert the measurements though (for instance, 56" bust, 60" waist). We are happy to alter the sizes of individual pieces (for instance, if you need a 3X bodice but want a 1X skirt). Just include the information with your order and we will contact you if we have any questions.
Yes, we will be happy to hem your skirt at the time of construction if you provide us with an exact length measurement (from waist to bottom hem) within 48 hours of placing your order (24 hours for rush orders). If we do not receive a length measurement, your skirt will be hemmed to our standard 44" length (extra long). A 44" length will usually work for someone up to 6'2" tall.
Unfortunately, no, due to legal issues involving ownership of the fabric. You should contact local seamstresses in your area as they may be able to help you.
We do not. We sell online only through our website and occasionally list on Etsy.
While we are happy to answer any questions you may have, we limit all correspondence to e-mail. This way there is never any confusion regarding an order and there is always a record of exactly what was discussed. When discussing custom orders, we require some time to consider fabric, sizing, and price options so that we may present you with all available options. Discussing orders on the phone can lead to confusion later on, especially if a lot of options were discussed.
No. We are forced to have a strict no return, no exchange policy due to the fact that we sell special occasion clothing that is made for each specific customer. Many people buy our costumes to wear to one special event and if we allowed returns we would be overrun with people who use our company as a free rental service. Our items are constructed once an order is placed for that specific customer. If you wish to swap sizes once you receive an item, a completely new item has to be constructed for you, therefore it a completely new order.
Our items run true to size and as long as you have correctly taken your measurements there should never be a problem with an item fitting. If you receive an item that is damaged or an item that you believe is a different size than the one you ordered, please contact us immediately upon receipt and we will be happy to work with you. We will not repair or replace items that were damaged through wear.
No. We go through bolts of fabric so quickly that by the time you've received the swatch, that fabric is gone and a new bolt is in its place (every dye lot differs and the swatch we sent you may be different than the new fabric we have in). It is also very time consuming and costly for us to be focusing on fabric swatches instead of pending orders. If you're unsure about a fabric, please visit your local fabric store and browse through their fabric selection. When you find the perfect fabric write down the name, number, description, etc. and let us know where you saw it. If we can get it for you, we'll be happy to.
We keep all basic colors in stock and can usually find any color you might wish to have. There is a color chart at the top of every item page that shows the most popular color choices. You are not limited to those colors though; they are just the ones most people choose.
